Empresa angolana reforça soluções de reparação compósita, prevenção da corrosão e inspecção em linha para o sector petrolífero
A Alliance Ambiental Angola, também conhecida como 3A Services, está a reforçar a introdução no mercado angolano de tecnologias destinadas à reparação, protecção e monitorização de tubagens utilizadas pela indústria petrolífera.
Em entrevista à Revista Executivo, Luc Defforey, Director-Geral da empresa, explicou que a estratégia da organização passa pela transferência de tecnologias especializadas ainda pouco disponíveis no mercado nacional e pela criação de capacidade técnica local.
A empresa dispõe de bases operacionais em Luanda e Cabinda, duas localizações estratégicas para acompanhar as necessidades das operadoras e empresas prestadoras de serviços do sector de petróleo e gás.
“A nossa principal missão é trazer para Angola tecnologias que ainda não estão presentes no mercado e desenvolver capacidade para que estas soluções possam ser aplicadas localmente”, afirmou.
REPARAR EM VEZ DE SUBSTITUIR
Entre as soluções apresentadas pela Alliance Ambiental Angola destaca-se a reparação compósita de tubagens afectadas por corrosão, desgaste ou fugas. A tecnologia permite reforçar a integridade estrutural dos tubos e prolongar significativamente a sua vida útil, evitando, em determinadas situações, a substituição integral da infra-estrutura.
Segundo Luc Defforey, muitas empresas substituem tubagens danificadas quando existem alternativas tecnológicas capazes de recuperar os equipamentos e mantê-los operacionais durante vários anos.
“A nossa inovação está nas tecnologias de reforço das tubagens. Quando existe corrosão ou algum dano, nem sempre é necessário substituir completamente o tubo. Podemos reforçá-lo e prolongar a sua vida útil”, explicou.
Uma das principais vantagens desta solução é a possibilidade de realizar determinadas intervenções sem interromper totalmente a produção, reduzindo o tempo de indisponibilidade das instalações e os custos associados à substituição de equipamentos.
A empresa disponibiliza igualmente tecnologias de protecção anticorrosiva e está a integrar novas competências de inspecção em linha. Estas soluções permitem avaliar o estado das tubagens, identificar antecipadamente potenciais falhas e apoiar decisões de manutenção baseadas em informação técnica.
CONTEÚDO LOCAL COMO MOTOR DE CRESCIMENTO
Na perspectiva do Director-Geral, o reforço do conteúdo local será uma das principais transformações da indústria petrolífera angolana durante os próximos cinco a dez anos.
Luc Defforey acredita que as empresas nacionais deverão assumir uma participação crescente na prestação de serviços especializados, beneficiando da aquisição de competências, da transferência de tecnologia e da formação de quadros angolanos.
“O conteúdo local é muito importante para nós porque somos uma empresa nacional. A grande transformação será o crescimento das empresas angolanas e a sua maior participação neste mercado”, declarou.
A Alliance Ambiental Angola manifestou também abertura para analisar uma futura parceria editorial com a Revista Executivo, orientada para a divulgação de tecnologia, inovação, conteúdo local e oportunidades existentes na indústria.
Aos jovens interessados em ingressar no sector petrolífero, Luc Defforey aconselha uma aproximação activa às empresas e uma aprendizagem contínua sobre as diferentes tecnologias utilizadas ao longo da cadeia de valor.
“O jovem deve contactar as empresas, procurar informação e conhecer as tecnologias existentes. O petróleo e gás envolve diferentes áreas, desde a exploração e produção até à manutenção das instalações. É necessário interessar-se por todas essas vertentes”, concluiu.
Ao combinar tecnologia internacional com capacidade operacional angolana, a Alliance Ambiental Angola pretende posicionar-se como uma referência nacional em reparação compósita, protecção anticorrosiva e integridade de tubagens.

Angolan company strengthens its offerings in composite repair, corrosion prevention, and in-line inspection for the oil sector
Alliance Ambiental Angola, also known as 3A Services, is stepping up its efforts to introduce technologies into the Angolan market designed for the repair, protection, and monitoring of pipelines used by the oil industry.
In an interview with Executivo Magazine, Luc Defforey, the company’s General Manager, explained that the organization’s strategy involves transferring specialized technologies that are still scarce in the domestic market and building local technical capacity.
The company has operational bases in Luanda and Cabinda, two strategic locations for meeting the needs of operators and service providers in the oil and gas sector.
“Our main mission is to bring technologies to Angola that are not yet available on the market and to develop the capacity to apply these solutions locally,” he stated.
REPAIR RATHER THAN REPLACE
Among the solutions offered by Alliance Ambiental Angola, composite repair of pipelines affected by corrosion, wear, or leaks stands out. This technology reinforces the structural integrity of the pipes and significantly extends their service life, avoiding—in certain situations—the complete replacement of the infrastructure.
According to Luc Defforey, many companies replace damaged pipes when there are technological alternatives capable of restoring the equipment and keeping it operational for several years.
“Our innovation lies in pipeline reinforcement technologies. When corrosion or damage occurs, it is not always necessary to completely replace the pipe. We can reinforce it and extend its service life,” he explained.
One of the main advantages of this solution is the ability to perform certain interventions without completely halting production, thereby reducing facility downtime and the costs associated with equipment replacement.
The company also offers corrosion protection technologies and is integrating new in-line inspection capabilities. These solutions make it possible to assess the condition of pipelines, identify potential failures in advance, and support maintenance decisions based on technical information.
LOCAL CONTENT AS A DRIVER OF GROWTH
From the General Manager’s perspective, strengthening local content will be one of the key transformations in the Angolan oil industry over the next five to ten years.
Luc Defforey believes that domestic companies should take on an increasing role in providing specialized services, benefiting from skills acquisition, technology transfer, and the training of Angolan personnel.
“Local content is very important to us because we are a national company. The major transformation will be the growth of Angolan companies and their greater participation in this market,” he stated.
Alliance Ambiental Angola also expressed openness to exploring a future editorial partnership with Executivo Magazine, focused on promoting technology, innovation, local content, and existing opportunities in the industry.
For young people interested in entering the oil sector, Luc Defforey advises actively reaching out to companies and continuously learning about the different technologies used throughout the value chain.
“Young people should contact companies, seek information, and familiarize themselves with existing technologies. Oil and gas involve different areas, from exploration and production to facility maintenance. It is necessary to take an interest in all these aspects,” he concluded.
